The old host decided to close up shop but never bothered to tell anyone. That is what I get for going with cheap hosting. They have turned off the servers and I have no way to retrieve the database now.
I haven't really been "into" these past couple of seasons, and this is just the final nail in the coffin. I will no longer run NAFFL.net. I have already paid for MFL for 2009, so this will be the final season with me as the commissioner and as an owner. I have mostly had a good time, so thanks to you all.
The NAFFL 2009 season will be ran exclusively on the MFL site. There is basically everything we had on NAFFL.net, so I don't think it will be a huge downgrade. This also means that while you all get more familiar with MFL, one of you may decide to step up and take over NAFFL for 2010.
I haven't configured team accounts yet, but I will do so soon. Check back here for information.
If anyone is interested in keeping NAFFL.net alive, the domain is registered through 5/2010 and I will gladly transfer it. If you simply want to keep the NAFFL alive (through MFL or another web FFL host) please let me know. I also can provide methods to get data back to the '99 or '00 season (not sure which) if you want it.
Thanks again to you all for a lot of great years,
Da Commish
